Passage: Romans 3:23–3:26
Love producing love
"All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Romans 3:23-24
“Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all (Colossians 3:11).”
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).”
I. We are ALL seeking to be justified.
II. Christian Justification puts us in a unique debt of love.
“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8).”
“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).”
III. Christian Justification is free because Jesus paid for your redemption. .
“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation (Romans 7:6-11).”
“I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32).”
